Makonnen Tendaji is a scholar and educator. His areas of focus as a scholar are Educational Psychology, Child Development, and Black Male Studies. As an educator, he specializes in Social Emotional Learning, Restorative Justice, and Child Psychology. Makonnen has extensive experience in educational spaces as an academic coach, curriculum developer, and program coordinator. He has dedicated his life to pursuing educational justice for children of color and delivering critical educational resources to communities of color.
